SPP November News Featured

All of our SPP athletes ventured to Federation University for their post testing this week. The results were truly amazing. Some students have improved by over 20% in relation to their first round of testing in February. This indicates that our strength and conditioning programs are working for our athletes. We thank Federation University Ballarat Campus (Sports Science Department)for their ongoing support of our athletes.

We are ordering some exciting new equipment for our High Performance Centre including a state of the art tread mill where you can visually run the street of France. We will also add some Water Rowers to assist in recovery and rehab for injured athletes and as some of our senior SPP athletes are beginning their weight training programs we will install a heavy duty power rack. Well done to all involved in our Sporting Pathway Program.

Next year - due to the high number of quality applications we are having two Year 7 SPP groups next year; this takes the total of SPP athletes to over 125 who are involved our Sporting Pathway Program.
