School Policies
Warrnambool College policies are published on our website to keep our community informed and to meet Department of Education (DE) requirements. Our policies form the essential link between our school’s vision and the daily operations that guide our practice. It is important that all members of our school community understand their roles and responsibilities. Many of our policies also apply directly to students enrolled in the Hyland Street Campus (WAVE).
The Victorian Government has introduced new Child Safe Standards to strengthen child safety across all organisations, including schools. These standards highlight the vital role families and the school community play in promoting child safety and wellbeing.
Warrnambool College has reviewed and updated our child safety policies and procedures to ensure they align with the new standards. We remain committed to continuous improvement and welcome feedback on how we can further strengthen our practices, policies, and procedures.
